Climate change is causing massive problems for the world’s environmental sustainability. Sea turtles are one on many oceanic species being negatively impacted by higher sea levels, habitat erosion, and altered currents, amongst other existential threats. These changes not only threaten the integrity of sea turtles’ life cycles, but also impact migration patterns, offspring survival, and more.

This promotional kit aims to educate and inform people about the repercussions climate change has on sea turtle populations. This kit comes with a brochure, informational postcard, reusable water bottle, and tote bag.
Save the Sea Turtles
Brochure
The interior design of this brochure aims to illustrate the duality between life and death. On one side, images of a living and deceased turtle are juxtaposed to represent the uncertainty of their survival. On the other side, facts regarding sea turtles’ life cycles are compared with information about their developmental disruptions and ongoing demise. Positive facts are placed in the water to symbolize sea turtles’ natural habitat, whereas negative facts are placed in the sky to represent the sea turtles’ lost souls in heaven, or where they will end up if current problems remain unaddressed. The use of these artistic visuals were important in this project to dramatize intricate details of the struggles sea turtles continue to face.
Promotional Kit
The promotional kits come with an informational card, reusable water bottle and tote bag. Each kit will have a different informational card that highlights important information about sea turtles and what is currently happening to them.
Web Design
On the website you will have access to all the information you need to further educate yourself on sea turtles’ current environmental crises. You can access a calendar that has information about how to learn more them, see when and where they might be nesting, and more. The goal of this website is to provide a comprehensive overview of relevant information at the same time that users can discover ways to help the sea turtles.
