Coffee Packaging
The Packaging for coffees beans and ground coffee consist of many plain brown paper bags or a ubiquitous minimal design. Many brands also rely on similar color palettes. I wanted to use imagery and colors pleasing to the eye. I decided to use a more illustrative art style to go in the opposite direction of what is currently on the shelf.
Instead of the drab, brown bags seen on shelves, I wanted to make the packaging stand out. By using imagery of coffee plants and key colors related to nature, I reminded the consumer that the product is high quality and ethically sourced. I also improved the function of the product by making the bag resealable.
