Shampoo Bottles
The objective of this project was to redesign an already existing product making it more contemporary and creating a more eye catching shelf appearance.
Using the Suave shampoo and conditioner bottles, I created something unique whereby both the conditioner and shampoo’s logo created something new when placed side by side to each other. This not only helps sell the shampoo, it makes it appealing to buy the conditioner as well. Packaging so enticing helps set children and young adults to become lifelong brand users. The graphics color way are reversed and simple so the consumer knows exactly what they’re reaching for.
After designing the imagery for the bottle, I wanted to continue with the hand drawn aesthetic. I took inspiration for the font, from, Insignia and it’s symmetrical basis and I created my own font for the label typography. With Insignia as an underpinning, to which I added my own handwritten style. I wanted the main actors, the strawberry and the font to have a similar vibe. The strawberry was hand drawn, I wanted the font to have this similar aesthetic. As in the art style of the strawberry, I felt it was important that the symbolism was equally as welcoming, dynamic and engaging.
